Left out
Calories
The entire reason the audience is leaving the big trackers. We only count protein. That's the point.
On the App Store · iPhone
A protein tracker that refuses to show you a calorie. One number, one goal, logged in about two seconds. No account, no email, no paywall before you use it.
54g to go today.
The refusal
Most people arriving here are leaving something that counted everything. The absence is the product. Here is exactly what we left out, and why.
Left out
The entire reason the audience is leaving the big trackers. We only count protein. That's the point.
Left out
If the food database returns them, we throw them away before the screen is drawn.
Left out
Bodyweight is asked once, to suggest a goal, and never tracked over time. A protein app that logs weight is a diet app.
Left out
Open the app, set a goal, start logging. Your data stays on the phone.
Left out
Nothing is asked for before the app is useful. Whatever we charge for later, it isn't the first day.
Left out
A missed day is a missed day. No red, no lecture, no streak held over your head.
Speed is the feature
Most logging apps make you find a food before they let you record anything. You already know the number on the label. Type it.
A bare number, no food attached. Name it if you want it back tomorrow.
Thirty common foods with a sensible default serving. One tap logs it.
The count-up is the only animation in the app. It is also the one people screenshot.
The app
01
One enormous number, a bar, and the day's entries.
02
Keypad, food tiles, recents. No calorie field to ignore.
03
Seven bars, a daily average, a streak. Nothing else.
04
Your goal, your units, your reminder. One screen.
Next, and the reason for the .ai
Photo estimation is in testing for a later build, for the meals that don't come with a label. It returns one figure, in grams, and you can correct it. It will not show you a calorie either.

Writing
Plain answers to the questions the app deliberately doesn't answer on screen. No meal plans, no supplement affiliates, and a source at the bottom of anything with a number in it.
